For more than thirty years, Aertssen Lifting has been the specialist in lifting and moving heavy and exceptional loads. What once began as a local crane rental company grew into an international reference. Our mission remains unchanged: to provide safe, efficient and customized lifting solutions for complex projects.

Thanks to our long-term and close cooperation with the Antwerp industry, we have positioned ourselves as a valued partner in various sectors such as (petro)chemicals, oil & gas, energy, infrastructure and other high-risk environments where safety is always the highest priority. All our activities comply with the strictest standards, such as VCA-Petrochemistry, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. In addition to these sectors, we operate in many other areas, including civil infrastructure, data centers, plant decommissioning, hospital and healthcare infrastructure, and energy supply.

In order to offer this wide range of services in a structured and efficient manner, Aertssen Lifting has been divided into three specialized business lines:

Within the Rental business line, we offer a wide range of cranes – from compact mobile cranes to heavy-duty telescopic and crawler cranes with impressive lifting capacities. Thanks to a large fleet and strong regional distribution (including Stabroek, Lier, Ghent, Limburg, Brussels,
Charleroi and Liège), we can respond quickly and efficiently to any demand. Our qualified and experienced operators ensure that every lifting project is completed professionally and safely.

The Projects business line focuses on large-scale and complex jobs requiring multiple cranes, SPMTs or other specialized lifting and transport equipment. The strength of this department lies in integrated project management: project managers and technical teams together ensure complete coordination from A to Z. Each project is thoroughly prepared, worked out and followed up, with the support of in-house engineers and work planners. This multidisciplinary approach allows demanding operations to be carried out efficiently and safely.

Industrial Services focuses on lifting operations in complex industrial environments where safety, precision and risk management are key. Whether for petrochemical sites, the energy sector or other sensitive industrial environments – we combine technical expertise
with in-depth preparation and risk management.

Our specialists thoroughly analyze the environment, tailor work methods and procedures, and ensure safe execution to the highest standards. Here, too, our engineering department plays an important role with substantiated technical files, 3D simulations and
customized lifting plans.

Internationally, Aertssen Lifting is well represented in Germany, the Netherlands and France, where we use our expertise for industrial and infrastructure projects. Through Aertssen Machinery Services, we perform complex lifting operations in the Middle East.
