Weghe qui a pris l&rsquo;initiative, en d\u00e9cembre 1984, de contacter les principales soci\u00e9t\u00e9s de location de grues de l&rsquo;\u00e9poque. Travaillant r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement avec des coll\u00e8gues n\u00e9erlandais, il avait vu comment nos voisins du nord s&rsquo;\u00e9taient regroup\u00e9s professionnellement.<\/p>\n<p>Son intention, \u00e0 l&rsquo;instar des f\u00e9d\u00e9rations n\u00e9erlandaise et fran\u00e7aise de la grue, \u00e9tait de cr\u00e9er une association belge qui d\u00e9fendrait les int\u00e9r\u00eats du secteur et fournirait une plate-forme o\u00f9 les questions commerciales seraient discut\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>C&rsquo;est ainsi que le 5 f\u00e9vrier 1985, l&rsquo;Association belge des propri\u00e9taires de grues asbl a \u00e9t\u00e9 officiellement \u00e9lev\u00e9e au-dessus de la police. Le conseil d&rsquo;administration \u00e9tait compos\u00e9 de Roger Van de Weghe, pr\u00e9sident fondateur, Arthur Severin, vice-pr\u00e9sident, Hugo De Bie, secr\u00e9taire et Hendrik Sarens, tr\u00e9sorier.<\/p>\n<p>Au d\u00e9part, la f\u00e9d\u00e9ration ne comptait qu&rsquo;une poign\u00e9e de grandes entreprises parmi ses membres.
